Adobe 100 Hooper has many amenity spaces for its employees. We created and visually defined those spaces: Montage - a counter-service cafe, Amp - a coffee bar, Motion - a wellness center with a yoga studio and meditation pods, and Refresh - a smoothie station.
Montage branding was designed to be a flexible logo with color neutral versions to be used in different applications throughout the cafe. M-O worked with Adobe, to curate employee made mural tiles using the brand palette, to bring a fun piece of branded art into the space.
The building is located next to a waste management company, which can be seen from the 4th floor. M-O designers used the color gradients from the Montage palette to allow natural light in, while obscuring the facility and garbage trucks below and preserving the view of the SF skyline above.
Adobe 100 Hooper - Amenities
For an enterprise consistently pioneering in the design and production of digital tools, it was clear that their workplace needed to reflect the creativity behind the brand and to celebrate their innovative products. Embracing color and its significance to Adobe, the 250,000 SF office building in San Francisco embraces the company’s ethos—everything is designed to be ‘globally consistent and locally relevant’.
As a large workplace, Adobe 100 Hooper has many amenity spaces for its employees. Our designers created and visually defined those spaces: Montage - a counter-service cafe, Amp - a coffee + barista bar, Motion - a wellness center with a yoga studio and meditation pods, and Refresh - a smoothie and juice station adjacent to Motion.
Adobe typically names their cafe and amenity spaces in reference to some of their softwares like Photoshop and Illustrator. We wanted to continue that tradition, but paying homage to some of the other programs in their wide range of products. Montage and Motion are nods to the film editing softwares After Effects and Premiere, Amp is taken from to the audio workstation Audition, and Refresh is a nod to the web program XD.
