The mural includes an array of historic buildings, an aerial view of the Missouri & Mississippi Rivers, and abstracted street maps to represent the history and place of St. Charles.

Chapter at the Streets is a five story multi-family residential development in St. Charles, Missouri. M–O was commissioned to design a mural on the ground floor of the development to capture the spirit and history of this charming town.

The Whimsy Wonderland theme ties together the values of equity, community, and inspiration with the historical and geographical context of St. Charles. The mural includes an array of historic buildings, an aerial view of the Missouri & Mississippi Rivers, and abstracted street maps to represent the history and place of St. Charles.

The expressive animals, researched and illustrated by the mural artist Wylie Caudill, nod to the regional landscape. The multicolored drips introduce the idea of inclusion to the mural through interweaving and integration into the historic buildings. The upbeat characters represent the vibrant community and people of St. Charles. It is the interplay between all of these elements that seeks to represent the enthusiastic nature of the city's past, present and future.
