Core Capabilities

Environmental Branding
Signage & Wayfinding
Art Direction

As PayPal’s credit division grew outside of Baltimore, they needed to offer a workspace with a strong sense of place to help with talent retention. The suburban location was losing employees to the urban amenities and culture that downtown offices were able to provide. Media Objectives collaborated with VDTA to design an easily navigable workspace, built around a core from materials which reflect a downtown urban industrial aesthetic.

Local imagery blends with printed and physical urban textures to complement the industrial impression and provide unique artwork throughout the workspace.

Environmental Graphics

We engaged end users to help influence their spaces inspired by Baltimore neighborhoods and landmarks, providing clear identities, a sense of place and ownership of the space for each user group.

By curating flooring accent colors and interior finishes to patterns within artwork, we were able to provide holistic spatial design experiences.

Art Curation

M-O sought out Baltimore street artists Jessie Unterhalter and Katey Truhn to provide a mural installation for the employee lounge and ground the space in an authentic local experience. We worked closely with the artists to curate colors and finishes with the space.
