Environmental Graphic Designer – SF

If you are enthusiastic about pushing design beyond expectations to enrich the experience of the built environment through visual communication, this is the team for you.

We’re looking for a full-time environmental graphic designer for our San Francisco or Palo Alto office. At M-O you’ll collaborate with the team to create unique concepts for built environments such as experiential graphics, signage, wayfinding, branding and custom installations.

What You’ll do at Media Objectives

  • Conceptualize and design both 2D and 3D environmental graphics
  • Collaborate with the M-O team to portray our client’s brands throughout their environments
  • Conduct research and analysis to understand our client’s brands
  • Work on all phases of a project from concept to implementation; including development of production artwork
  • Create detail documentation, schedules and specifications for projects
  • Collaborate and coordinate with architects, interior designers and fabricators

The Must Haves:

  • 3 – 5 years of experience in environmental graphic design
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Architecture, Interior Design or related
  • Advanced skills in typography, composition, and color theory
  • Understanding of architectural scales and drawings
  • Experience with development of design intent documents
  • Experience coordinating directly with fabricators and vendors
  • High-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud Apps
  • High-level proficiency in Windows
  • Personable and professional with clients
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent communication skills (verbally and written)
  • Be professional and organized with the ability to multitask
  • Have a fearless go-getter attitude
